If you could go back in time to change any event in history, what would it be?

We're assuming that this wouldn't violate the Prime Directive and cause a cosmic implosion of some sort, right? There are a million things one could do, of course. Assuming that this has to be something that an individual could accomplish, I guess I'd go for preventing the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Had his policies been carried out instead of being scuttled by his reactionary successors, we might have much better race relations in the US today.
